MAC Eyeshadow Dusky Rose Times Nine Review

Every woman loves MAC eyeshadows as she knows that these eye shadows just make the eyes appear more beautiful. Is not the title too cute and girly? The same is the palette. Thus, let’s get started.

This palette is perfect for work and has a wide array of neutral matte shadows that work as a base shadow or eye contour. It also has a staple black shade that can be used as a liner or to add drama to the crease.

There is an equal number of lighter shades as there are darker shades in this palette. The micro-glitter shades in this palette are top-notch and work best wet with setting spray and applied on the centre of the lid.

The ultimate palette for a sultry look whether it’s for New Years’ Eve or clubbing. It is the go-to palette to turn any day time look into a night time look in a snap.

It provides textures from matte to satin to suspend for producing looks for the day and night. The saturated, soft and smooth colours are packaged in one pocket-sized compact for simple portability. The packaging is quite good and travel-friendly since it doesn’t require much space. It comes in square shape little pack with a transparent lid with MAC written on it and at a dark case.

It’s 9 shades since it is named. The dimensions of this refills are smaller than the typical size. M.A.Cnificent Me! — It is pink in colour and has a matte finish with just a little shimmer. 2. Quiet Form — Bronze in colour. A dark bronze shimmer colour. Good for the cut crease or darkened smokey eyes. 3. Dance in the Dark — It’s brown matte with a dark undertone and has good pigmentation. Fabulous DNA — This is also pink in colour but more on the lighter side and frost one.5. Pleasing to the Eye — This is light brown and with pink undertones. Good for daytime in addition to nighttime. Looks good on both dark as well as light skin tones. 6. Sable — Bronze + golden colour with shimmer. Third Row (L to R)7. Seriously Frosty — Light grey in colour with a matte finish. 8. In My Element — A silver eyeshadow with a good quantity of shimmer in it. 9. Cool Complement — It is a brown matte eyeshadow.

I purchased this palette since I wanted some more impartial pinks to grow my collection. Although I really do love it, it’s not as pink as I was hoping. I most definitely love it This palette contains pink and purple toned shades. This is perfect for creating a romantic eye makeup look. This is my favourite palette. It is MAC, so of course, it’s beautiful, well mixing, and pigmented, I really do believe the photo and lighting can make it look a bit pinker than it actually is. Still would recommend it regardless. They are beautiful colours and are extremely neutral and ideal for Summer.

Mac Dusky Rose times nine Swatches

What I love about the nine pan eyeshadow palettes is their compactness, they’re the perfect size to take when you travel and come in a variety of shades.

Just to be aware the eyeshadow pans are smaller than your usual refill pans from MAC but for around $30 I think you’re getting a great value for the price. The palettes are marketed as pocket-size palettes.

I don’t own any rosy toned eyeshadows that are similar to the Naked 3 palette so I was very excited to try this. The shades in the palette are on the rosy side but still very neutral and wearable.

I think the shade range is very nice and you get a good matte to shimmer ratio. All the shades are very nicely pigmented except for Dance in the Dark which I found a little stiff but still workable.
